Welcome

Hi, I'm Amanda – your partner in navigating menopause with confidence, strength, and clarity.

If you're feeling frustrated by symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere, confused by conflicting information, or dismissed by healthcare providers who tell you "it's just part of getting older," you're in the right place. As a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience, a Certified Menopause and Hormone Specialist, and someone who's lived through early menopause myself, I understand exactly what you're going through – both medically and personally.

At MenoHealthNurse, I combine evidence-based medical knowledge with personalized fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies to help you feel like yourself again. Whether you're dealing with hot flashes, weight gain, brain fog, or just want to understand what's happening in your body, I'm here to educate, empower, and support you every step of the way.

You deserve to thrive during this transition, not just survive it. Let's work together to make that happen.

My Story

My journey into menopause specialization wasn't planned – it was personal.

At 33 years old, after a partial hysterectomy, I was thrust into early menopause without warning or preparation. As a nurse, I thought I'd have all the answers. Instead, I found myself struggling with symptoms I didn't understand, searching for information that felt impossible to find, and facing the same medical gaslighting that so many women experience.

While navigating my own menopause transition, I was also raising three children with autism, healing from divorce and rebuilding my life from the ground up. It was during this time that I discovered the transformative power of strength training, proper nutrition, and evidence-based hormone education. These tools didn't just help me manage my symptoms – they gave me back my confidence, energy, and sense of control.

That's when I knew I had to do more.

I left frontline nursing to pursue certifications as a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Menopause and Hormone Specialist. I'm currently working toward my NAMS Certified Practitioner certification because I believe women deserve practitioners who truly understand the complexity of menopause – medically, physically, and emotionally.

For the past 2.5 years, I've dedicated my career to helping women over 35 navigate perimenopause and menopause with the education, support, and personalized strategies they deserve. I've worked with hundreds of women who've been told their symptoms are "all in their head" or that weight gain and fatigue are inevitable. Together, we've proven that's simply not true.

Why working with me is different from the others

Most menopause coaches are either fitness professionals without medical training, or healthcare providers without hands-on experience in strength training and nutrition. I'm both – and that makes all the difference.

I bring together:

  • Over 20 years as a Registered Nurse with specialized menopause and hormone training

  • Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist who designs programs specifically for hormonal changes

  • Personal experience navigating early menopause at age 33

  • Evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique symptoms and goals

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I create personalized plans that help you become the healthiest, strongest version of yourself. Menopause isn't the end of anything – it's the beginning of your most empowered chapter.
